Tali and Robert’s wedding was truly a fairytale.  These high school sweethearts (so rare nowadays) were wed at Celebrate at Snug Harbor on a beautiful Spring afternoon.  Every detail of their wedding had meaning.  The Bride’s blush pink rose and white hydrangea bouquet as well as her sisters bouquets were bound by lace from their Mothers wedding gown.  Tali handmade her table names, which were street signs of places that held meaning to the couple.  The lovely couple also cut their cake using the same knife that Tali’s parents used at their wedding decades before.
“Our favorite parts of the day were the first look, and the ceremony, and most especially saying our vows. We chose traditional wedding vows because we felt that there is something special about exchanging words that so many others before us have on their wedding day.” says Tali.
Robert’s sister sang “Simple Gifts” during the ceremony and it was important to the couple that the wedding was intimate, only their closest friends and family in attendance.
Tali and Robert agree that their view of this day and the world can be summed up by one quote:
“We are biologically connected to every other living thing in the world. We are chemically connected to all molecules on Earth. And we are atomically connected to all atoms in the universe. We are not figuratively, but literally stardust.” - Neil Degrasse Tyson

Katie and Jeff’s adorable do-it-yourself touches to their wedding made it truly unique and beautiful.  Their handmade cake topper, vintage cosmetic traveling case used for cards and their jars of sweets for favors made this bright and sunny wedding absolutely wonderful.  Congrats Katie & Jeff!!!

Gretchen and Jamie’s wedding at Liberty House was absolutely adorable.  Their whimsical decor was tastefully executed with a bold cobalt blue, bright and cheery yellows and curly willow and hanging votive centerpieces.  So much in love, they took their vows in the garden and then ate, drank and partied the night away with the incredible New York City skyline as their backdrop.  Check out their photos courtesy of Dana Lane Photography

Cindy & Rich - 9.3.2011

It was an exquisite September day, as Cindy and Rich exchanged vows in the Tuscan Garden at Celebrate at Snug Harbor.  The weather was perfect, the Bride and Groom’s smiles were bright and their friends and family shed tears of joy as Cindy and Rich became husband and wife.  Their wedding was sweet and simple, a garden ceremony followed by a rockin’ party in the tented pavilion.  Click on the title above to check out their slide show courtesy of Funico Studios!

Maren and Roger’s September wedding at Stone House at Stirling Ridge was truly unique.  Origami “flower” bouquets, centerpieces and escort cards were beautifully and artfully crafted using a copy of the book “Jane Eyre”.  The bride, who works in publishing, thought the use of this book appropriate because it tells the story of a young woman finally finding her love.  The setting for the ceremony on the terrace was the perfect backdrop for their day and was truly memorable.  Maren said that “turning the corner at the Stone House and seeing her future husband standing there”  was the most memorable moment of the day.  Their simple and fun style reflected throughout the party as the Bride, Groom and their guests ate, drank and celebrated all day.  Think about what you can do to personalize your wedding…

Aidan McConkey and Jonathan Greenholtz’s wedding at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge was nothing short of a fairytale.  The chic décor, tantalizing menu and the couple’s endless smiles and laughter throughout the day were simply mesmerizing.  Its no wonder The Knot decided to feature their wedding in their upcoming Fall/Winter 2012 issue!  We were so happy to be a part of their special day.
